CCS is a K-12 multicampus school in the geographic centre of Sydney. It has been in operation since 1976. The vision of the school is to support Christian families in educating their children from a distinctly Christian perspective. It has 630 students and is a ministry of Regents Park Community Church.

The school has already established a strong reputation and high profile not only in the local community but also in the Christian School movement in Australia. The reason is a commitment to fulfilling the vision of the school and the dedication, humility and faithfulness of the School Board and the staff to serving God in and through the school community.

The school is founded on a grace based model of pastoral care, sense of community, service, spiritual growth, the development and use of diverse gifts and non selective academic excellence. It seeks to work in partnership with parents and develop the values and beliefs held dearly by each family.

Because of its location it is able to cater for a diverse multicultural community as well as a diverse multidenominational community. Being a regional school it attracts students from as far west as the Blue Mountains, the Shire in the south, the City of Sydney in the east and the Eastwood district in the north. Regents Park is an important transport nodal point where the Bankstown line and the Liverpool line intersect and connect to the Western line.

The school is well known for its academic achievements, sporting representation to national and international level and its creative arts curriculum. It is also well known for its programs in student leadership and spiritual growth and development. It has a strong camps, ministry and service program that caters for and relates to local, interstate and international communities.

CCS is a school that seeks to cater for all Christian families regardless of wealth, education and social status. It seeks to train up a new generation of students committed to serving God through serving the community. It is about developing an eternal perspective based on serving others in the present. CCS is about developing strong, positive Christian citizens with a deep sense of calling, compassion and desire to stand against injustice. It is about empowering and equipping young people.

Our school also enjoys strong relationships with other Christian schools and two of the local Christian primary schools act as feeder schools for CCS. Greenacre Baptist Christian Community School (Greenacre) and Calvary Chapel Christian School (Georges Hall) are an important part of the ongoing growth of our school and the maintenance of the profile of the Christian school movement in this part of Sydney.
